FINDING ALASKANS
IN
GREECE
1. Screenplay
In this the sequel to "Finding Christmas in Alaska," the Zeilers are recruited by a Greek historian, Theodus, to find an ancient Greek treasure. So, accompanied by Theodus's beautiful
daughter, Athena, the Zeilers travel across the beautiful land and waters of Greece to search for it. And it's an incredible journey as they sail the ocean, have an epic sword fight
against pirates, and simply have an adventurous time together as a family. Please click on Finding Alaskans in Greece to read the screenplay.
2. Pictures
All of the pictures on this webpage were actually taken in the area where the scenes will take place in the film. So, two pictures were taken in Alaska (and are captioned as such) while all of
the other pictures on this page (including the picture above) were taken in Greece. They represent a small sample of how beautiful this film will look. Note the pictures aren't arranged in any
particular order.
The Zeilers and Athena travel the ocean waters around Greece on
a very pretty yacht.
The Zeilers and Athena look for a key to the treasure while they're snorkeling at a rocky beach (like the picture at the top of this page).
The Zeilers visit the famous Acropolis in Athens, Greece.
The five Zeiler kids do a funny synchronized swimming routine to
the song, "The Blue Danube."
The film begins in Alaska, with all the Zeilers fishing on a boat in the Kenai River, which has a beautiful turquoise color.
An ancient Athenian ship that's filled with treasure is in a beautiful ocean cove.
Tristan and Alexis look for a key to the treasure while they scuba
dive together.
A flashback (in color) shows how Tristan and Emily first met in
Alaska when he swam across a very cold lake in the winter.
At the end of the film, the Zeilers and Athena celebrate with other Greeks under white lights on a beach at nighttime.
As soon as they arrive in Greece, all of the five Zeiler kids race each other down this waterslide at the Aqualand waterpark.
The Zeilers visit Theodus's house, which has the famous Greek architecture of white stucco and blue paint.
The Zeilers and Athena battle pirates, including a sword fight, next
to a beautiful turquoise river.
3. Music
There will be six beautiful songs in this film that will combine to have a great presence with a total screen time of 17 minutes and 55 seconds,
and these songs will be made even better by the stunning imagery that will accompany them. These songs are arranged below in the order from left to right that they'll appear
in the film, so please click on the audio players to listen to them:
"I Get Around" by the Beach Boys plays as the Zeilers swim in a Greek
waterpark when they
first arrive in Greece. (2 minutes and 10 seconds)
"The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss (played by the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra) is played
for about one minute as several of the Zeilers do a funny synchronized swimming routine. (1 minute)
"Sleep, Sleep" is a Greek lullaby, and I'm not sure who sang this version, but
this isn't the
version in the film anyway since it's sung by Athena on the yacht.
(2 minutes and 25 seconds)
"Suspicious Minds" by Elvis Presley plays during a montage of the Zeilers
and Athena searching for
keys to the treasure. (4 minutes and 30 seconds)
"Leave her, Johnny" by Johnny Collins. This isn't the version in the film since
the five Zeiler
kids and Athena sing this sea shanty while dancing on a boat.
(5 minutes and 5 seconds)
"Don't Worry Baby" by the Beach Boys plays as the Zeilers, Athena, and
others dance on a
beach as they celebrate at the end of the film. (2 minutes
and 45 seconds)
